- "Many people hate Hulk. Hulk is used to that. But he shouldn't be hated for something he didn't do. Not right!"

Notes & Trivia[]
- The Hulk was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby. He first appeared in Incredible Hulk #1 in May, 1962 in a story titled "The Coming of the Hulk".
- This issue is reprinted in black and white in the Essential Hulk, Volume 4 trade paperback collection. It is also reprinted in remastered color in the Marvel Masterworks: The Incredible Hulk, Volume 9 hardcover collection. It is partially reprinted in Mighty World of Marvel #160.
- Betty Ross and Glenn Talbot were married in Incredible Hulk #158.
- This is the first appearance of Paul Cartier, aka the Wendigo. He appears next in Incredible Hulk #180, which is also notable for the cameo introduction of a certain pint-sized Canadian mutant with an attitude. Here's a hint: He has claws.
- This is the first appearance of Georges Baptiste.
- This is the first appearance of Marie Cartier.
- Pierre Trudeau was the Prime Minister of Canada at the time of this issue's publication. Given the logistics of the passage of time in the Marvel Universe, this is considered a non-canon topical reference.
- The Wendigo is quite chatty on the cover to this issue, suggesting at least a partial intellect. However, in the story itself his only dialogue consists of shouting out his name in emphasized syllables, "Wen-Di-Go!" He and Groot should hang out together.
- The Hulk seems to enjoy rampaging through Canada. While there, he also makes some trouble for the Canadian Army at the Maskattawan Dam in Quebec over in Amazing Spider-Man #119-120. Fortunately, a certain American costumed wall-crawler just happens to be in Montreal when all of this goes down.
- One of the more humorous quotes spoken by the Hulk in this issue relates to his first exposure to the Wendigo. "Monster! Hulk almost stepped on Monster!"
- The Hulk will return to Canada in Incredible Hulk #180.
