The Incredible Hulk is an American live-action television series of the superhero fantasy genre. It is based on the character of Hulk featured in comic book titles published by Marvel Comics. Season five of The Incredible Hulk, which proved to be the shortest season, began on October 2nd, 1981 and ran to May 12th, 1982, spanning a total of only seven episodes. Some sources have speculated that these episodes were actually just overflow from season four, which had a truncated episode list due to the 1981 Writers' Strike. The series starred Bill Bixby reprising the role of Doctor David Banner as well as Lou Ferrigno as his growling green counterpart, the Hulk. Jack Colvin returned in the role of investigative reporter Jack McGee, but only appeared in a single episode from this season.
