The Image-translator is a fictional item featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is associated with the Eternals line of titles and first appeared in Eternals #18 in December, 1977. The Image-translator was a device used by the Eternals. In combination with the image-block, it was able to record and transmit a visual record of events from the distant past, including the arrival of the Second Celestial Host, which saw the destruction of one of the great celestials.
