Ichirō Yashida is a fictional character featured in the X-Men film series. He is loosely based on the Marvel Comics characters, Shingen Harada as well as Keniuchio Harada. The character was introduced in the 2013 feature film, The Wolverine where he was played by Ken Yamamura in the 1945 scenes and by Haruhiko Yamanouchi in the modern day scenes. The scenes where Yashida is seen wearing the Silver Samurai armor was constructed using digital effects.
