An ice pick is a tool with a sharpened point used for the purposes of chipping and breaking away pieces from solid blocks of ice. It can also be used to describe an ice axe, which is a tool that mountaineers use to assist them in scaling steep inclines. Additionally, an ice pick may also be used as a weapon.
On Daredevil, an Irish mob boss named Finn Cooley used an ice pick to viciously stab out the eye of another mobster named Seamus. He drove the pick far enough into his eye that it pierced his brain, killing him. (Daredevil: Penny and Dime)
