Hugh Selzer is a fictional law-enforcement officer and a minor character featured in the Witchblade family of comic book titles published by Top Cow Productions - an imprint of Image Comics. He first appeared in Witchblade #1 in November, 1995.
Biography[]
Sara Pezzini went undercover to ferret out a gangster named Tommy Gallo, who had been responsible for a murder that Sara was investigating. Sara broke NYPD protocol during the case, which was reported back to police chief Joe Siry. Internal Affairs inspector Hugh Selzer was present in Siry's office and eyed Pezzini wearingly. [1]
Hugh later caught up with Sara Pezzini at the county morgue and inquired about the Witchblade gauntlet that had been found on her person. Pezzini found Selzer to be creepy and brushed him off. [2]
