The Hounfour is a fictional location featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is associated with the character of Brother Voodoo and first appeared in a story called "Brother Voodoo!" in Strange Tales #169 in September, 1973.
Description[]
Known as the "Hounfour", this was a manor located in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is the residence and base of operations for Jericho Drumm, originally known as Brother Voodoo. Drumm continued to make use of this residence after assuming the power of Agamotto, becoming Doctor Voodoo.
History[]
When Brother Voodoo discovered Loralee Tate drowning in the Mississippi River, he rescued her and brought her back to his manor house so she could recover. While there, she described being pursued by the Cult of the Dark Lord. [1]
