The Hosts of Hoggoth was an invocation used to power a magical effect by those trained in the mystic arts. It draws power from the elder being known as Hoggoth. This was but one of many spells utilized by the Sorcerer Supreme, in particular, Doctor Stephen Strange. The spell had various properties, and could also be used as a counter-spell to defend one against attack. It could also conjure forth an aspect of Hoggoth himself, who could physically interact with the material world on the caster's behalf.
