Biography[]

KkH'Oar'Rrhr, often referred to as just Hoar, was an adult male member of the Tusken Raider race from Tatooine. Hoar belonged to the Rrhr clan, who were all slaughtered by Anakin Skywalker in 22 BBY for the capture and subsquent torture and death of Anakin's mother, Shmi Skywalker.

Unlike other Tuskens, Hoar had a natural affinity for the Force. He also developed a proficiency in the unarmed combat form known as Teräs Käsi.

Notes & Trivia[]

  • Star Wars was created by writer, director and executive producer George Lucas. It first captured the imaginations of movie goers in May, 1977 with its inaugural installment, which has since come to be identified by its full title, Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. The movie led to two sequels, a prequel trilogy, a third trilogy, several spin-off films, and numerous television programs, animated projects, novels, comic books, and video games, as well as developing into a merchandising giant.
  • Hoar is part of the original Expanded Universe, which is now labeled under the "Legends" brand of Star Wars continuity, making him a non-canon character.
  • Hoar's connection to the Tusken Raiders that killed Anakin's mother was established in a three-part blog on Starwars.com called "Barely Tolerable: Alien Henchmen of the Empire".
