You're digging him in this month's issue of Deadpool and you want to know more about him? How about his origin story? A troubled soul, set upon a path of vengeance he does not understand. An assassin without equal, trained in the most secret of killing techniques. A flesh and blood specter, haunting the killers of the world. A monkey.

Notes & Trivia[]
- The origin of Hit Monkey is revealed in this issue.
- Per the indicia, the actual title of this issue is Hit-Monkey (MDCU) 1, which redirects to this page.
- This is technically the second appearance of Hit Monkey. He was introduced in Deadpool, Volume 4 #19, which was released this same month.
- The events of this issue are adapted as the second half of the pilot episode of the Hit-Monkey animated series on Hulu. One of the major departures from the comic story is that the unnamed assassin from Hit Monkey's origin is an American and is named Bryce Schouler (later as Bryce Fowler and Bryce McHenry). He is also extremely comedic as opposed to the serious demeanor of the assassin from this issue.
