Biography[]
Hirsch was a field medic that became part of a private group led by the American war correspondent Clint Harris to sneak past the European quarantine zone to get into England. Their helicopter was fired upon by a British military plane, forcing them to land in the Shetland Islands. They quickly deduced that the infected had made their way to Southern Scotland when two of them attacked Hirsch in a field. A woman named Selena pushed Hirsch out of the way of one lunging infected, then saved him again when the second one attacked him. Hirsch and his group made their way to a hotel in Sumburgh to hold up. While exploring the building, Hirsch fell down an elevator shaft filled with infected. Colleague Trina pulled him, but he later discovered that he had been bitten. [1] Upon seeing the injury upon his left forearm, Selena immediately stepped into action. She hacked Hirsch to death with her machete before he had a chance to turn. [2]
