Queen Hippolyta is a recurring character featured on the animated superhero program Justice League Unlimited. Voiced by actress Susan Sullivan, she was introduced in the eighth episode of season one, "Paradise Lost (Part 1)". Hippolyta made six appearances in the series in total.
Overview[]
Hippolyta is the Queen of the Amazons and lives on the secret island of Themyscira. She is the mother of Princess Diana, who relocated to the United States whereupon she assumed the costumed identity of Wonder Woman.
Powers[]
- Immortality: Like all Amazons, Queen Hippolyta is immortal and will not age beyond her current appearance so long as he remains on Themyscira. Once she leaves, she will begin to age as a normal human until she returns.

- The character of Hippolyta was created by director Dan Riba and writer Joseph Kuhr based on concepts originally developed by comic book writer William Moulton Marston.
- Voice actress Susan Sullivan is best known for playing the role Kitty Montgomery on the comedy series Dharma & Greg as well as Martha Rodgers on the ABC mystery series Castle. In the superhero fantasy genre, she is also known for playing Elaina Marks from the pilot episode of the 1977 TV series The Incredible Hulk.
