The Hills Have Eyes is an American horror film of the psycho-thriller subgenre. It is a remake of the original 1977 film The Hills Have Eyes which was directed by Wes Craven. This film is written and directed by Alexandre Aja and was produced by Craven-Maddalena Films and Dune Entertainment. A sequel film, The Hills Have Eyes 2 was released in 2007. The film stars Aaron Stanford, Kathleen Quinlan, Vinessa Shaw, Emilie de Ravin and Dan Byrd as a group of weary travelers who become the unfortunate victims of a tribe of savage, brutal rapist/murderers.
