The Hidden Isle is a fictional island of myth. It is located in the Mediterranean Sea. The Hidden Isle relates to the tale of Odysseus, whose ship was steered towards the Hidden Isle while returning from the Trojan War. It was here that Odysseus and his crew encountered Polyphemus, the mythical Cyclops. They managed to escape by blinding the creature.
Centuries later, the Atlantean known as Namor traveled this region and discovered the Hidden Isle. Namor tricked the Fantastic Four into coming to the island where they encountered the cyclops. (Fantastic Four 9)
