Biography[]
Henrietta Knowby was an middle-aged woman and the wife of Professor Raymond Knowby. She had a daughter named Annie. Professor Knowby brought Henrietta to a private cabin in the woods of Tennessee where he could study the occult text known as the Necronomicon. Reading aloud the passages from the book, Knowby unwittingly unleashed ancient evil Kandarian spirits. The evil took possession of Henrietta. Professor Knowby, unable to put his wife down, instead locked her inside the fruit cellar of the cabin.
A short time later, a group of youths including Ash Williams and Annie Knowby came to the cabin. They found the Deadite Henrietta in the fruit cellar.
