- This series takes place in the non-canonical secondary timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which applies to TV shows like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Netflix projects. It is not associated with the core timeline from the feature films or the Disney+ programs.
- Originally Marvel Television intended on creating a TV brand called "Adventure Into Fear", which would feature the darker side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which would include Ghost Rider, Helstrom, and a as-yet unspecified third series. Marvel Television got folded into Marvel Studios, who decided to cancel these projects. Helstrom was the only show to actually make it past production.
