The Head could refer to multiple things, not including which, the uppermost part of a person's body. It's what keeps one's ears from falling down to the ground.

This enigmatic individual was a disembodied head contained within a transparent cube. The bottom of the cube contained robotic articulating legs, that afforded it some measure of movement. The Head was at one point the property of the World Protective League. The League lost the Head, and it wound up inside of a box at Scott Free's Fix-It Shop in Bailey, New Hampshire. The League came looking for the head, ultimately getting into a battle with Scott Free and his pal, Oberon. The Head managed to escape, but was later spirited away by forces unknown.
