Biography[]

Origin[]

Harvey Elder was once a nuclear engineer who decided to disassociate himself from humanity and went on a quest to find the center of the Earth. His journey was fraught with peril and he washed up on the shore of a desert island in the South Pacific, which later became known as Monster Isle. While mountain climbing, an avalanche occurred, plunging him into an underground ravine, resulting in Elder becoming permanently blind. The warrens led to a vast underground valley, which he named Subterranea and there he discovered various races of bizarre primitive dwellers. Dubbing himself the Mole Man, he became their king and declared himself ruler of Subterranea.
