Harry Dean Stanton is an American film actor who was born on July 14th, 1926 in West Irvine, Kentucky. Throughout the 1950s and 60s, Stanton played bit parts in various western films and television programs. Sci-fi enthusiests know him best for playing the role of S.E. Brett, an engineer from the 1979 Ridley Scott film Alien. In total, he has appeared in more than 100 films and 50 television programs. [1]
