Harry "Doc" Koor is an American scientist, television producer, director and screenwriter. Having earned P.h.D.s in both physics and chemistry from Purdue University, he later turned his sights towards the entertainment industry, beginning with the UPN television series Star Trek: Voyager. Kloor co-wrote four episodes of the series between 1997 and 1998 (seasons 3-5) and then went on to produce the first twenty episodes of season one of Earth: Final Conflict (another program inspired by the work of the late Gene Roddenberry). In 2010, he produced, directed and wrote the screenplay for the animated film Quantum Quest: A Cassini Space Opera, which employed the voice talents of dozens of venerated sci-fi thespians including William Shatner, Mark Hamill, Robert Picardo, Brent Spiner and Samuel L. Jackson.

- As a child, Harry was inspired to become a scientist by the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man, as well as a firefighter who told him that he could accomplish anything he set his mind to. [1]
