Harriet Jones is a fictional politician and a recurring character in the Doctor Who multimedia franchise. Played by actress Penelope Wilton, she was introduced in the season one episode of the 2005 Doctor Who revival series entitled "Aliens of London". She made four appearances in the series in total, her last being the season four episode, "The Stolen Earth".

Harriet Jones was a passionate, yet pragmatic member of Parliament during the mid-2000s, and represented the constituency of the village of Flydale North. Following the incident at 10 Downing Street involving the Slitheen family, Harriet was soon elected as Prime Minister of England.
