Harcourt Fenton "Harry" Mudd is a fictional pimp, con-man and grifter and one of the few recurring antagonists featured in the original Star Trek television franchise. Played by actor Roger C. Carmel, he first appeared in the season one episode of the original series, "Mudd's Women". He also appeared in the season two episode, "I, Mudd". Harry Mudd also made an appearance on Star Trek: The Animated Series in the season one episode titled, "Mudd's Passion".

- The character of Harcourt Fenton Mudd was created by director Harvey Hart and teleplay writer Stephen Kandel based on concepts originally developed by Gene Roddenberry.
- Harry Mudd was still active as late as the year 2269.
- Harry Mudd made two appearances in Star Trek: The Original Series and one appearance in Star Trek: The Animated Series.
- Along with Spock's father, Sarek, Harry Mudd is the only other non-Starfleet character to appear in both the original series and the animated series.
