Biography[]
Hans Grubnik was a drifter who lived in a village in the city of Krakow in Poland. He was not particularly well-liked by other villagers, who regarded him as a "shiftless lout". Hans was present the day that a disembodied entity known as Gor-Kill swept across the Krakow Dam and became a giant water monster.
As the other villagers fled in terror, Hans knew that they had to prevent the creature from reaching the ocean, or else it would be able to absorb monstrous volumes of water into its mass. Hans gathered together some dynamite and detonated it near Gor-Kill. The explosion dispersed the creature's form into droplets of water, which were then absorbed into the soil.
