Halloween Kills is an American feature film of the horror genre. It is the twelfth installment in the Halloween film series, the tenth installment in the original series, and the ninth film in the series to feature the character of Michael Myers in the role of the main antagonist. It is the second film in the soft-reboot series following 2018's Halloween. The film was written and directed by David Gordon Green, and co-written by Danny McBride and Scott Teems. It was produced by Blumhouse Productions and Trancas International Films and distributed through Universal Pictures. It was originally slated for an October, 2020 release, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Its projected release date was October 15th, 2021.
