Haeg'rill is an alien character and an antagonist featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is a member of the extraterrestrial race known as the Brood and was introduced in Uncanny X-Men, Vol. 1 #156 in 1982.
Biography[]
Haeg'rill was a Brood warrior that worked directly for a Clan-Master aboard an Acanti vessel. When the X-Men and the Starjammers boarded the ship to rescue Charles Xavier and Lilandra Neramani, they caused etensive damage to not only the ship, but also to the Brood forces. Haeg'rill provided a damage report to the Clan-Master. [1]
Powers[]
- Winged flight: Like all Brood, Haeg'rill was capable of winged flight. His insectoid wings allowed him to fly short distances and to hover in place for an indeterminate period of time.
- Superhuman durability: Haeg'rill's carapace was exceptionally sturdy and could even withstand the rigors of space for limited periods of time. The exoskeleton was as strong as platemail and could withstand low-yield attacks from conventional weaponry.
- Poison stinger: Haeg'rill's stinger was capable of administering a deadly poison that could kill it's target within a matter of seconds. However, he did not get the chance to use this method against the X-Men during his encounter with them.
