Hades is a figure that features prominently in Greek mythology. He is a god and is the Lord of the dead and king of the Underworld. Spooky, right? Hades is part of the G1 era of Gods and is part of the major pantheon generated from the original Titans of Myth. Hades is portrayed as the eldest child of Cronus - leader of the Titans, and Rhea. He is a sibling of Zeus - King of the Gods and Poseidon - Lord of the Sea. While Zeus was charged with dominion over the Earth, and Poseidon the Sea, Hades received the Underworld.
Biography[]
Hades manifested in corporeal form on Earth and took the extended name Hades Blackstone. He fathered the half-god/half-vampire named Angelica Blackstone, also known by her code name Hellchild. Hades began a romantic relationship with one of Angelica's immortal allies, Liesel van Helsing.
Notes & Trivia[]
- In the Roman approximation of the Greek pantheon, Hades is analogous to Plouton, classically known as Pluto - yes, the same Pluto that our favorite non-planet was named after, as well as the one non-talking animal from Disney.
