The Ha-Hacienda is the name associated to any number of different structures featured in comic books published by DC Comics. It is associated with the Batman line of comic titles, and serves as the headquarters/hide-out for Batman's arch-nemesis, the Joker. It first appeared in the first story in Batman #4 in Winter, 1941.
"Joker's Ha-Hacienda" redirects to this page. This was also the name of the letters column from the 1975The Joker ongoing comic book series.
The original Ha-Hacienda was a supposedly haunted structure that had earned itself some local lore. The building was even known as The Haunted. [1]
The Joker did operate out of a hideout prior to occupying his first Ha-Hacienda. This may in fact be the same building, but it is not identified as such, and remains unclear. [2]
Not to be confused with La Hacienda, which is a Marvel Comics location and is a village known to have been frequented by the Man-Thing.
