Biography[]

Gus Lambert was an elderly man who once lived in Chicago, Illinois. After suffering from a bad marriage and severe debt, he decided to start life anew and moved away to the frigid town of Barrow, Alaska. The people of Barrow were happy to embrace him and he felt as if he had found a place where he truly belonged. [2]

Gus worked at the communications relay station and monitored the upkeep of the telephone lines running throughout the town. In the winter of 2007, a group of vampires came to Barrow in search of easy prey. Using a human stranger to facilitate their goals, they sent him ahead so he could take measures to isolate the town from the outside world. The vampires followed suit and they attacked the power station where Gus worked. A vampire named Marlow Roderick attacked Gus, tearing out his throat with his long fangs. He then beheaded him and stuck the severed head upon a fence post outside where it was later discovered by Sheriff Eben Oleson. [3][4]
