Biography[]
Gus Gold was a drama instructor at Windsor College in Ohio in the late 1990s. In 1998, he directed a Greek tragedy called Agamemnon. One of the lead actresses in the play was Sidney Prescott. Due to some recent murders, Sidney began suffering from PTSD and wanted to drop out. Gus convinced her to stay with the production, mostly because he had no understudy for her. Sidney had an episode while rehearsing a scene in the third act when she hallucinated that the Ghostface killer was amongst the cast.
