Guernica is a town in the province of Biscay in Spain. It played a key role in the Spanish Civil War. During World War II, it was the site of a bombing by the German Nazi Luftwaffe.
The mutant hero Wolverine and his companion Puck shared an adventure in Guernica. In 1937 they assisted Partisan rebels.
