The Guardsmen are a fictional group of law-enforcement agents featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. They are part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and first appeared in Avengers Annual #15 in October, 1986.
Description[]
The Guardsmen are armed security guards employed by the super-max prison known as The Vault. They wear the armor of the Guardsman, who was originally Kevin O'Brien back when he was head of security at the Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. facility. The members of the Guardsmen are recruited from various branches of the United States Armed Forces divisions. They are a Federally sanctioned organization and receive funding from the United States government.
