"Tell Them the Overmen are Here!" is the tenth issue of the first Guardians of the Galaxy ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics. It is the second chapter in the "World of Mutants" storyline. It was written and illustrated by Jim Valentino with inks by Steve Montano. It was colored by Evelyn Stein with lettering by Ken Lopez. The story was edited by Craig Anderson with Renee Witterstaetter as assistant editor. This issue shipped with a March, 1991 cover date and carries a cover price of $1.00 per copy (US).

Notes & Trivia[]
- The original Guardians of the Galaxy were created by writer Arnold Drake and artists Gene Colan and Mike Esposito. They first appeared in Marvel Super-Heroes #18 in January, 1969. This was a super-hero team from the 31st century of an alternate timeline known as Earth-691 who fought up against the oppressive galactic threat of the Badoon. The modern era mainstream reality iteration of the group were first known as Star-Lord's Kree Squad, and first appeared in Annihilation Conquest: Starlord #1 in September, 2007 by writer Keith Giffen and artist Timothy Green II. They became known as the Guardians of the Galaxy in Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume 2 #1 in July, 2008. This version of the group was created by writers Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning and artist Paul Pelletier. The version of the Guardians that is featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is based on this iteration of the team.
- Taserface takes on the identity of Overkill beginning with this issue.
- This is the final appearance of Blaster. He is incinerated by laser fire in this issue.
- A statue of Magneto is seen in the town square of Haven, but is taken down in this issue.
