"But are they ready for... Taserface!" is the story title to the first issue of the first Guardians of the Galaxy comic book series published by Marvel Comics. It was written and illustrated by Jim Valentino, who also provided the cover artwork, cover embellishment and cover coloring for this issue. The story was inked by Steve Montano and colored by Evelyn Stein with Ken Lopez on lettering. It was edited by Craig Anderson with Renee Witterstaetter as assistant editor. This book is the first chapter in the "Quest for the Shield" storyline. This issue shipped with a June, 1990 cover date and carries a cover price of $1.00 per copy (US).
