Grosking is a fictional leisure activity featured in comic books published by DC Comics. It is associated with the Superman line of titles and first appeared in Superman #360 in June, 1981. Grosking is a sport similar to the Earth activity known as fishing. It involves using a length of line tied to a small rectangular container that is dropped into a body of water. Val-Mer took his son Koll-Mer grosking on the Striped River. They waited until the river waters flooded, thus insuring the strongest chances of a good catch.
