"Sinestro Corps: Birth of the Black Lantern" is the title to the twenty-fifth issue of the fourth Green Lantern ongoing comic book series published by DC Comics. It is the eleventh and final chapter in the "Sinestro Corps War" storyline. The story was written by Geoff Johns with artwork by Ivan Reis & Ethan Van Sciver and inks by Oclair Albert, Julio Ferreira, Ivan Reis, and Ethan Van Sciver. It was colored by Moose Baumann & Rod Reis and lettered by Rob Leigh. The story was edited by Eddie Berganza with Adam Schlagman as assistant editor. This issue shipped with a January, 2008 cover date and carries a cover price of $4.99 per copy (US).
