"Airborne" is the title to the first issue of the fourth volume of the American superhero comic book series Green Lantern. The issue was written by Geoff Johns with artwork by Ethan Van Sciver on pages 1-4 and Carlos Pacheco on pages 5-30. The issue was inked by Jesus Merino with cover art illustration composed by Pacheco and Merino (as well as Alex Ross on the variant cover). The issue was colored by Moose Baumann and lettered by Rob Leigh. It was edited by Peter Tomasi with Harvey Richards as assistant editor. The issue shipped with a July, 2005 cover date and carried a cover price of $3.50 per copy (US) 4.75 CAD (Canada).

- The character of Hal Jordan, aka Green Lantern, was created by writer John Broome and artist Gil Kane. He first appeared in Showcase #22 in October, 1959 in a story titled "S.O.S. Green Lantern!" He received his first ongoing Green Lantern comic book series in August, 1960.
- This issue is reprinted in the Green Lantern: No Fear hardcover collection, released in June, 2006. It was reprinted in the Green Lantern: No Fear trade paperback collection in May, 2008.
