"Half a Green Lantern Is Better Than None!" is the title to the first story from the twenty-ninth issue of the second Green Lantern ongoing comic book series published by DC Comics. The story was written by John Broome with artwork by Gil Kane and inks by Sid Greene. The second story is called "This World Is Mine!" and is by writer Gardner Fox, and artists Gil Kane and Side Greene. It was lettered by Gaspar Saladino. Both stories were edited by Julius Schwartz. - The character of Hal Jordan, aka Green Lantern, was created by writer John Broome and artist Gil Kane. He first appeared in Showcase #22 in October, 1959 in a story titled "S.O.S. Green Lantern!" He received his first ongoing Green Lantern comic book series in August, 1960.
- This issue shipped to retailers on April 9th, 1964.
