"Family Relations"[]
S.T.A.R. Labs consultant Chrissie Cavendish contacts Green Arrow and asks him to accompany her to the ruins of the Arrowcave to find the nesting Solomon Grundy. Cavendish is something of an expert on Grundy and claims to be his great-great grand-daughter.
As they travel towards the mouth of the cave, Grundy charges forward and begins attacking him. Cavendish has an experiment that she wants to try on Grundy, but she requires a sample of his DNA to make it work. Ollie distracts Grundy with a flurry of gas arrows long enough for Chrissie to get her DNA sample.
They retreat from the fight and seek shelter in the woods. That night, Chrissie concocts a serum, which she says is similar to the one that Grundy used to accidentally turn himself into a swamp monster. By reverse engineering it with a fresh supply of Grundy's DNA, she hopes to cure him.
As daylight comes, they return to the Arrowcave and resume their struggle with Grundy. However, Chrissie Cavendish doesn't want to cure Grundy – she wants to BE like Grundy! She injects herself with Grundy's DNA and turns into a large hideous monster. Ollie now finds himself in the position of saving Grundy from Cavendish. Grundy knocks the creature out, and Ollie drags her out of the woods before Grundy has the chance to finish her off.

Notes & Trivia[]
- The tagline to this issue is "Solomon's Revenge!"
- This issue is UPC barcode number 761941227153 05311.
- This issue shipped to retailers on August 10th, 2005.
- Whether Chrissie Cavendish is actually the great-great grand-daughter of Solomon Grundy is never confirmed in this issue. While it is certainly possible that she may be a descendent of Grundy's human alter ego, Cyrus Gold, Cavendish's idealized perception of Grundy renders her testimony unreliable. Cavendish's account of Cyrus Gold's personality and history contradicts information supplied by earlier sources.
- The fight between Green Arrow and Solomon Grundy which resulted in the destruction of the Arrowcave took place in Green Arrow, Volume 3 #18.
