The Great Chott Salt Flat is a fictional location found in the Star Wars mythos. It is a desert region on the planet Tatooine and includes several cities as well as moisture farm communities.
Description[]
The Great Chott Salt Flat region is located deep within the deserts of Tatooine at the southern tip of the Jundland Wastes. It is one of the earliest known human settlements on the planet and is the location of the city of Anchorhead. The Darklighter family has made their home in the Salt Flat as did the moisture farm of Cliegg Lars, which had since been handed down to his son Owen Lars and was subsequently inherited by Owen's nephew Luke Skywalker. The power distribution center known as Tosche Station is likewise located in the Great Chott Salt Flat.
