Gravity manipulation is a super-power that allows one to manipulate the gravity in a surrounding area or as a localized effect. In Marvel Comics continuity, this power is possessed by Franklin Hall, who is also known as Graviton and is an old foe of the Avengers. Graviton could manipulate or negate the attractive, gravitational force between atomic nuclei. Through this ability, he could reduce his own gravity enabling him to fly, or increase graviton particles surrounding him to create a force field. Another Marvel character who possesses this is Frederick J. Dukes, aka, the Blob. The Blob can increase his own gravity to make him virtually immovable. As he is often famous for saying, "Nothing moves the Blob!".
