The Grand Salon sky ship was a Monarch-class heavy-lifter communal vehicle. It was a veritable city-ship built by the Montcalm-Delacroix et Cie company. The ship was not designed for interplantery travel, but was rated for surface, atmospheric and high orbit movement. The ship was owned by Moncalm-Delacroix's founder Lucien Delacroix. The entire ship was run by a centralized computer network known as Toy. In addition to operations facilities, the ship also included housing areas and commercial market establishments. One of the more popular businesses found on the Grand Salon was Structures, a biotech modeling facility that specialized in providing full biological alteration to trophy wives and consorts.
