Gorahn is a fictional alien and a minor character featured in comic books published by DC Comics. He is part of DC's Pre-Crisis Earth-One continuity, and appeared in 1st Issue Special #12 in March, 1976.

Biography[]

Gorahn was an adult member of the Talokian race from Talok III. He worked as an executioner in the Talokian penal system and was charged with sentencing the renegade Mikaal Tomas. However, Tomas managed to escape and left the facility in a stolen shuttlecraft. Mind Council leader Master Komak punished Gorahn for allowing Tomas to escape by killing him with a blast from his laser eyes.

Abilities[]

  • Alien physiology: Gorahn's Talokian physiology makes him stronger and slightly more durable than the average Earth human.
  • Superhuman strength: As a Talokian, Gorahn's strength level is somewhat greater than the average Earthling. However, in comparison to other members of his race, his strength level is seemingly proportionate to his relative age, size and weight.

Notes & Trivia[]

  • Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985-86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
