"Godman vs. Kinger" is the second episode of the Japanese tokusatsu television series Go! Godman by the Toho Company. It first aired on the Nippon Television Network on Friday, October 6th, 1972.
Synopsis[]
Godman and Kingar continue their struggle by tightly grappling each other about the shoulders. Kingar delivers a shot to the ribs, pushing Godman back, then throws him to the ground. Godman returns with a kick to the monster's right flank, then a punch to the left side of his jaw, then a second kick. The two grip each other again and Kingar throws Godman to the ground a second time. Godman gets up and comes back with a fury, delivering numerous blows to the creature's mid-section. The two then grapple each other again, rocking back and forth until Godman strikes with another blow. A powerful right cross from Kingar sends Godman to the ground however. When Godman gets back up, he grabs Kingar by the horns and presses back so that Kingar's arms can't quite reach him. With the advantage of having a longer reach, Godman is then able to deliver another series of blows. The two continue to swipe at one another, until Godman gets a slight elevation advantage by stepping onto a rock, and then kicks Kingar in the mid-section.
