Gloria Jenkins is a fictional comic book character and a minor character featured in the Spider-Man mutlimedia franchise. She appeared in issue #127 of the first Amazing Spider-Man comic book series. The character's appearance has also been reprinted in Marvel Tales #104.
Biography[]
Gloria Jenkins was a young woman who lived in New York City, New York. She was roomates with a lab assistant from Empire State University named Christine Murrow. Murrow had been working with a man named Clifton Shallot on an experiment that physically transformed him into the spitting image of the costumed supervillain The Vulture. Donning similar attire, the new Vulture sought to kill Christine out of fear that she might expose him. However, he killed her roomate Gloria Jenkins instead.
Gloria was murdered in the early evening on the sidewalk outside the apartment of Mary Jane Watson. Police conducted themselves at the crime scene, but Mary Jane, fearing reprisal, refused to acknowledge that she had witnessed the crime.
