Glenn Ramsey is a fictional military officer and a minor character featured in comic books published by IDW Publishing. He is featured in the Remains horror limited series from 2004 and first appeared in Remains #3 in July, 2004.
Biography[]
Glenn Ramsey was a military officer in the United States Army holding the rank of Colonel. In June, 2004, after the "nuclear burn", Ramsey was stationed at a military/civilian outpost in Lovelack, Nevada. He was in charge of the human resistance against the armies of the undead.
A junior officer reported failed communications from Scout Squad, and Colonel Ramsey instructed him to continue trying to establish radio contact. He also had him double the guards at the towers and gates. Afterward, he told his daughter, Cindy Ramsey, who was one of the civilians stationed at the outpost to load up vehicles with supplies.
Suddenly, all of the flood lights went out, and Ramsey put the outpost on full alert. A horde of zombies driving jeeps smashed through the perimeter and engaged the soldiers. Colonel Ramsey took down as many as he could, but was eventually overwhelmed. Cindy however, was able to commandeer one of the jeeps and escape. [1]
