The Glades is a fictional neighborhood featured in comic books published by DC Comics. It is associated with the Green Arrow family of comic book titles and was part of the mainstream DC Universe that existed between 1986 and 2011. It was first referenced by name in Green Arrow, Volume 3 #40 in September, 2004. A version of The Glades has also appeared in the 2012 CW Network television series Arrow.

The Glades is the name commonly attributed to an impoverished neighborhood in Star City. Shortly before the end of the Infinite Crisis event, Doctor Light (Arthur Light) and the archer Merlyn mounted a massive attack against the city, which nearly destroyed it. Crime-lord Danny Brickwell took control of the Glades after the Crisis and instilled a sense of authority in the district while Mayor Oliver Queen struggled to bring new money into the city to rennovate the Glades. A year after the Crisis, the Glades were still a haven for criminal endeavors, although Brickwell did manage to strike a tenuous truce with Mayor Queen.

The Glades is an impoverished neighborhood in Starling City, known for its economic decline, urban sprawl and high crime rate. Rebecca Merlyn had been murdered in The Glades, prompting her billionaire husband, Malcolm Merlyn, to embark upon a "scorched earth" policy with regards to city reform. To this end, Merlyn hired Unidac Industries to develop an earthquake-generating device, which he set off in order to destroy the entire neighborhood. Despite the efforts of Oliver Queen, Felicity Smoak, John Diggle and Detective Quentin Lance, the device was activated resulting in the deaths of more five-hundred residents.
