Gilliam Circle is a fictional location featured in the Aliens multimedia franchise and the Predator film series. It appeared in the 2007 feature film Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem.
History[]
Gilliam Circle was a public area in the center of the town of Crested Butte in Gunnison County, Colorado. When the town was being over-run by Xenomorphs, Yautjas and a "Predalien", the American military decided to take action, sending in the National Guard. Sheriff Eddie Morales contacted Colonel Stevens and requested emergency evacuation. Stevens told him to rendezvous at Gilliam Circle. This was a ruse however, as Stevens had no intention of evacuating the town. Instead, he authorized the use of a low-yield nuclear weapon to destroy the town and contain the threat. All but four civilians from Crested Butte were killed in the blast.
