"The Blood of Kings" is the first story featured in third issue of the Giant-Size Man-Thing quarterly comic book series published by Marvel Comics. It was written by Steve Gerber with artwork and inks by Alfredo Alcala. It was colored by Petra Goldberg and lettered by Marcos Pelayo. The story was edited by Len Wein. The cover art illustration was rendered by Gil Kane and Klaus Janson. "The Blood of Kings" is followed by four back-up features, which are all reprinted stories from older Marvel Comics anthology titles. This issue shipped in February, 1975 and carries a cover price of .50 cents per copy.
"Krogg!" was originally printed as the third story from Amazing Adventures #6 from November, 1971. In the original story, the main character was referred to as Doctor Droom. It is altered to Doctor Druid for this story, as well as all following appearances of the character.
"Save Me from the Wee!" was originally printed as the second story from Strange Tales #94 in March, 1962.
"Humans, Keep Out!" was originally printed as the second story from Journey Into Mystery #86 in November, 1962.
"Blackmail!" was originally printed as the fourth story from Mystery Tales #11 in May, 1953.
