"Games Godlings Play!" is the title to the first story featured in the third issue of the superhero comic book series Giant-Size Defenders published by Marvel Comics. The story was plotted by Steve Gerber, Jim Starlin and Len Wein with Gerber composing the final script treatment. Layouts were provided by Jim Starlin with Dan Adkins, Don Newton and Jim Mooney producing the finished art. Dan Adkins inked pages 1-7, 10-11, 22-27 and page 43, while Don Newton inked pages 14-19, 31-36 and 38. Jim Mooney inked pages 8-9, 30, 37, 39 and 44. The story was colored by Glynis Wein and lettered by Charlotte Jetter.
The second story in this issue is titled "The World Destroyers!" and features the character of Prince Namor, the Sub-Mariner. It is reprinted from Sub-Mariner Comics #38, which was published in February, 1955. The story was written, illustrated and lettered by Bill Everett.
The third story in this issue is called "The House of Shadows!" It is a Doctor Strange tale originally published as the second vignette in Strange Tales #120 in May, 1964. It was written by Steve Ditko and Stan Lee with pencil and ink work by Ditko. It was lettered by Sam Rosen.
The cover art for this issue was provided by Ron Wilson with inks by Joe Sinnott. It was lettered by Dan Crespi and edited by Roy Thomas. This issue shipped with a January, 1975 cover date and carried a cover price of .50 per copy (US).
