Notes & Trivia
- This series is based on the Ghostbusters animated series produced by Filmation Associates from 1986 to 1987. The cartoon series is based on a live-action children's sitcom from 1975 called The Ghost Busters.
- Although it may share a similar theme to that of the more well-known Ghostbusters film series, it bares no connection to the franchise.
- Solicitations for issues #5 and #6 were listed in Amazing Heroes #113 and #116, but the series was cancelled before the stories could be put into production.
- To distinguish it from the Ghostbusters film franchise, both the animated series and the comic book series used the stylized title Filmation's Ghostbusters.
